Students have been learning a lot about Proficiency Scales and Habit 3: Put First Things First this week. You should ask them about what it means.:) Next week we will be participating in Homecoming Spirit Week and going to the Homecoming Parade. Below is a list of the Spirit Week attire.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Students have been working on writing the sounds they hear and stretching out words. Please continue practicing letters and sounds of the alphabet at home. Many students are able to sing the Alphabet song, but are unable to identify letters and sounds when asked at random. Students may become frustrated during writing time if they are not familiar with letters and sounds as they are stretching out words. Practicing this at home will help build confidence in your child. Reminder: Please check your child’s B.E.E. folder each day. Below is an overview of what we will be learning in class next week.
