No School~ Friday, September 4th Teacher Professional work Day
No School ~Monday, September 7th Labor Day
Students have been learning a lot about Friendship and what it means to treat others the way we would like to be treated. Reminder: Please check your child’s B.E.E. folder each day. This is a great way for us to communicate. Below is an overview of what we will be learning in class next week.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Your child will be learning letter sounds, how to count to 100, and how to write their name. Many students know their Alphabet by singing the ABC song, but become confused and are not able to identify letters and sounds at random. Practicing this at home will help build confidence in your child. Next week I will be sending home an Alphabet Chart and a 100 Chart for practicing letter sounds and numbers. We are also using Handwriting Without Tears to help form letters and numbers correctly. I will be sending a sheet home once a week for your child to practice writing their name.
