No School~ Friday, September 4th Teacher Professional work Day
No School ~Monday, September 7th Labor Day
We had a great first full week of school in Kindergarten!!!
Students have been learning a lot about Citizenship and being respectful to others this week. Reminder: Please check your child’s B.E.E. folder each day. This is a great way for us to communicate. Below is an overview of what we will be learning in class next week.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Your child will be learning letter sounds, how to count to 100, and how to write their name. Many students know their Alphabet by singing the ABC song, but become confused and are not able to identify letters and sounds at random. Practicing this at home will help build confidence in your child. We are also using Handwriting Without Tears to help form letters and numbers correctly. I will be sending a sheet home once a week for your child to practice writing their name.
