Next week we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss and Read Across America. We will also be starting Topic 9 in math. Please practice writing numbers 1-.20 with your child and counting to 100. This will help them be more successful in math this quarter. Reading at home is very beneficial. Remember to record your child's reading in the log. Tuesday is Culver's Night and we hope to see you there!
Please encourage your child to read each day. They can even sign in to their RAZ Kids reading account online for extra practice. Each student has their own password and they are very familiar with doing this. Continued practice of popcorn words and writing a sentence at home will improve your child’s confidence in reading and writing. Reminder: Please check your child’s B.E.E. folder each day. This is a great way for us to communicate. Below is an overview of what we will be learning in class.
