Our theme next week is Martin Luther King Jr. Continued practice of popcorn words and writing a sentence at home will improve your child’s confidence in reading and writing. Reminder: Please check your child’s B.E.E. folder each day. This is a great way for us to communicate. Below is an overview of what we will be learning in class.

WORD WORK- Building Words and changing sounds to make new words
SPELLING TEST WORDS: (what, was, had, that)
WRITING- We will be working on “How to” writing. This is teaching others the order in doing something
READING- Review Reading Strategies, locating high frequency words, new STAR groups
MATH- Topic 7 continued, Understanding Subtraction
