Students have been learning a lot about the Alphabet and Habit 1: Be Proactive this week. You should ask them about what being Proactive means :) Some students are struggling with completing independent tasks in school. Please encourage your child to practice tying shoes, using snaps, buttons, zippers, and washing hands before eating. Reminder: Please check your child’s B.E.E. folder each day. This is a great way for us to communicate. Also, if you haven't signed up for Remind texts it's not too late. Below is an overview of what we will be learning in class next week.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Your child will continue learning letter sounds and start creating words by stretching out the sounds they hear. Please continue practicing letters and sounds of the alphabet at home. Students may become frustrated during writing time if they are not familiar with letters and sounds as they are stretching out words. Practicing this at home will help build confidence in your child.
